Migrant studies counter negative images

Today in our society no American "white boy" would be willing to do the hard labor that immigrants are doing. Immigrants are filling lower skilled jobs, they are raising the natives up the economic ladder into employment. Immigrants who arrived in the state between 1990 and 2004 increased wages by an average 4%. It seems to me that we need immigrants because if we didn't have them who would do those hard labor jobs, i know i wouldn't want to. They work hard long hours with the sun beating down on them all hours of the day with there backs hunched over. In the article the author states "immigrants clearly benefit U.S. residents and are being unfairly scapegoated for problems they do not cause.
