My article was about how an immagrate family was sleeping when the police came in the night and broke down there door. They told everyone to get down and put your hand behind your back. Kepping in mind that noone in the house had a criminal record. The agents rummaged through all the dresser drawers, disconnected the computer, ransacked the closets, ripped the clothes off the racks in the closets. The police told the neighbors not to come out of their houses. One woman was holding a four month-old baby and the other woman told the agents she was pregnant. Jose's mother told ICE agents that her son, who was on the floor face down, had a heart condition. They ignored her. They took the two men away, and when they were outside, one of the agents said they were going to take the car. The woman said that the car was not in her husband's name and told them that she had doctors appointments for the babies and needed the car. They left the car. The eight year-old boy, a U.S. citizen, told us that the agents threatened to shoot his pregnant dog.
I dont understand why they were attacking this one family and not going after the illegal immagrants that actaully had criminal records. I can understand when the government takes away the immagrants that are illegal and are doing illegal activity, but i dont understand when they attack and harrass immagrants that have no criminal record. If immagrants that are good people want to come to america or california i have no problem with that. But if immagrants are going to make it worse and start doing illegal things then they should go back to there country. I think everyone should get a green card though, wouldnt it just be easier on everyone?

I agree with you a 100% on what you were saying about why they were attacking the family for no reason. They shouldn't be going after them for no reason at all, and even so they shouldn't just come in their house in the middle of the night and treat them like that. I also agree that they should get green cards and it would probably the best thing for them. I think this is the best article I've read-great job!

That had to be a rude awakining and the raids that they are doing now a days are rediculous. I strongly disagree with invading a home if its just an immigrant family living there. If it was a criminal in the neighborhood then yes be agressive but the immigrant family is not a threat.

I agree with you 100% also. they should go to the people who are actual illigal immigrants that sell stuff to get money. rather than go after people who are U.S citizens. I like your article the best. great job! ^_^
