It was a day like any other at home just relaxing. My sister answered the phone when my step brother called from santa monica. My sister got off the phone and approached me first with a very upset look on her face. She didn't hesitate to tell me that my father had passed and then immediately began to cry. My two older brothers and my mom got home as my sister approached them to tell them the horrible news. My mother immediately broke down with sadness overwhelming her as she hugged my older brother for comfort and support. My oldest brother and I didn't react with tears but more with mourning.
