A narrative essay is a very descriptive perception of an event or as to describe something.
The essay is written in at least Five paragraphs and college students usually confuse this kind of an essay for an actual college essay.
The characteristics usually are; a plot, a character or more, a setting, a climax, and the ending. Characteristics help explain and support the story. People write them to summarize their story on an event using every detail possible. Narrative essays are usually featured in book reports and the writer usually expresses his or her feelings through verbs and adjectives. Basically the narrative essay is just telling your very best story in words in order to keep the reader interested.
